1973 Ford F 100 4X4 SWB 360 V8 offered by Gas Monkey Garage! Ford introduced the F series of truck in 1948 and Americans have been in love with them ever since making them the #1 selling truck in North America (for 24 years the F series was the #1 selling vehicle in the U.S.!) We acquired this nicely preserved example built at the Ontario Truck plant. The previous owner has performed a number of improvements to this truck and the 360 V8 has some nice items added like a new Carb and Headers, ut it needs attention before attempting to start for the first after all these years (the distributor is missing at the least and we have not started or attempted to start it or make any mechanical determination nor will we). The exterior is fairly straight having been resprayed at some point in the past and has a nice glossy finish with some nicks and dings and several areas showing rust (see all pics).Underside pics reveal a solid frame, loor, ed& suspension components with superficial rust present on most components (see all pics). The interior appears fairly complete making for an easy restoration of this Classic Iconic American pickup Truck. Now I normally look for the two wheel drive SWB F100’s, o when I found a 4X4 I acted quickly to secure it for the shop. While this would be an excellent candidate for a full on restoration or custom build here at the shop, e are too busy to get to this one so I’m offering it to you just like I found it needing some work. This truck DOES NOT RUN and should be serviced completely to determine what all is needed to get it running again due to unknown service history (and due to our filming schedule, e can’t perform any work on this truck or build it for you) Sold as is/where is!
