Ford Other 1956 Description
hello! first off the car has no title. abandoned in south Dakota in 1969, ought at auction by a friend around 20 years ago. has been passed from a couple of friends with little concern. you can find a title or use a title service.this car has a very solid untouched body, t would almost be a shame to paint it.it could be a excellent restore to original car or an awesome rat rod. originally a 312 car, he motor and transmission were unsavable due to the hood missing. I had a 56 292 and auomatic that will need rebuilt but are not junk, he motor will turn over fine off the key.but plan on motor and trans rebuilt or replace.( something modern). it does have all correct linkages, arb etc so car can go either this is a very complete car, ut needs pretty much everything as far as mechanics, rakes, xhaust, ires gas tan, iring harness under hood etc.as far as rust, he floors had rust, originals cut from a car in the rear, olted i, need welded. front left replaced with aftermarket, ight front original pretty decent.still needs minor patches in floor here and there. the floor area from underneath back seat back is excellent. the talgaite and panel below are excellent. minor rust right and left butnos small panels included.the rockers are very solid with very minor spots. to make it easy, here is no area on the body that needs more thanminorpatches including the front fenders. again, he body has never been touched, o what you see is as it is. yes two cool bullet holes on the drivers side. all of the bright work on the car is extremely nice, uper grill and parking lights, oor handles etc.front crossmember is solid also, eeding minor repair. needs windshield and a couple side glass, he hood on the car has a row of pinholes across the front, nly sheet metal you might want replace, butsavable. I think the pics tell the story very well, ust decide which way to go. I am usually a purist, ut great rat rod car. ask any questions you like,or more pics, ill beglad to answer. thanks!
