My wife loved this car so do I. She used to call it "THUNDER CHICKEN' But she passed away and I do not have any use of it. It sits and not being driven on regular basis. However car was being driven everyday until 2012Here the details about the car.
Turn the key and you will be on your way. Starts right up and runs smooth at 60-70 mph.
1965 Ford Thunderbird, ith 390 V8 and automatic transmission. Runs and drive good. It was not a show car. It was driven often on regular basis so it looks good but may not be in mint condition. Did not come with seat belts and a/c. Very nice seats, eadliner and carpet. Paint looks good and shine well but have few minor scratches in couple of places. Also has small tear on driver door panel (see pic). Only thing does not work is passenger power window but you can open and close with hand. Even funny looking speedometer works as it should.Very minor surface rust but not bad. At some point floor board had been repaired but solid body otherwise. We filled a gas tank while back but has not driven it much so it has some old gas in the tank but still run and drive good.
Be prepare to do minor work if you buy the car. I assure you that engine, rans and inside is good. Mechanically in strong condition but not 100% perfect.
