Ford Country Sedan 1958 Description
Listing my 1958 Ford Country Sedan Wagon. This is a true 70,000 mile, riginal paint Kentucky Survivor. Allegedly a Kentucky Sheriff Car...No proof of this,no indication of past lights or radios, tc being installed, maybe an administrative vehicle?? The 300 HP four barrel 352 has been freshened, tarts and runs like a watch and pulls great. Three speed on the column is tight and shifts great. All lights, gauges, horn work..Door locks all work including tailgate, glass all rolls up and down smooth. This is one of the nicest running, driving reliable older cars I have ever owned. I use it for an errand/parts runner and for transportation to nostalgia drags and shows where it is always a hit. The paint and interior are for the most part original, ave age and patina, signs of use but not beat up or badly worn.Fender brows have the usual rust issues but I would not replace the fenders since the original inspection stamps from the factory are still intact and legible. Dennis Carpenter repo rubber front floor mat installed today, loors are solid. NOS tail light lenses. Radiator flushed and repaired, new water pump,T stat, belt and hoses, new fuel pump, rebuilt generator. Vacuum wipers upgraded to electric.I have always wanted to take this car on the Power Tour since it is perfect for that type of event (Vintage Air would be a nice upgrade). Listing this car with a heavy heart to fund another one I have found. I am 30 miles south of Cleveland Ohio. Thanks for looking, ny questions message me and I will get back to you.
