Beautiful 1956 Ford Fairlane

Ford Fairlane 1956 Description

For sale is a 1956 Ford Fairlane 4 dr sedan. I have to say this is the first car that my wife has gone on a drive with me and said "wow this car is quiet and comfortable." I really want the buyer to drive this car but on Ebay that is hard to do sometimes. It is so smooth no rattles and will do 75 on the highway without breaking a sweat. This car has the original 312 thunderbird motor.ECZ6015A with ECZ Mains. The body tag decodes it as the 312 4bbl motor which it has the original motor with the correct casting numbers. in the last 60 years it was swapped out to a 2bbl manifold and Autolite carb. I would hate to change back to the teapot as it runs so well with this setup, nd I have heard that teapots are a fire trap. Also the motor was painted ford blue and has the red underneath. The radiator was upgraded to a 4 core, have the original radiator still. As you decode the tag it is originally a yellow and white car with gray interior. The car has been sprayed once.It is the 2 speed Automatic and for its day this car has all the options. The AT 312 was rated at 225 horse. This car sounds awesome it has resonators on it with the exhaust out the bumpers. I have video of the exhaust, just cant post here on ebay, can email it to you. Has the thunderbird emblems on fenders. The only thing I cannot find is the original air cleaner. IT has a new water pump as of a week ago. New fluids. Stops well and this car has POWER STEERING. All the gauges work, t has a clock but it is currently not running. Original radio in dash lights up but it currently has a modern radio underneath the dash. Not loud but it does the job. all glass is in great shape. Chrome in great shape.

The car came out of the central valley of California all its life and is current on all fees. I have clean California title in hand. As you can see this is 100 percent rust free and very solid, ery straight and no dents.under carriage pics available just email me. Trunk is spotless. You cannot find cars like this anymore. Very good driver, rives straight and gets the looks everywhere you go. Whitewalls are in amazing shape and a lot of tread still. Very quiet and powerful motor. shifts great and no leaks underneath now that the pump is fixed. interior is newer, eadliner was replaced in original white and black dot. Heater defrost and all controls work. Has the Aruuuuga horn or flip a switch and have a beep. Again very clean inside and out. Every light works as it should, as gauge is spot on. Speedo does not bounce and is spot on. This car is everything it needs to be. Very solid driver and Sunday cruiser, ake it to your local shows!! My next step would be mirrors and door handles all handles and mirrors available through MACS for under 500 bucks.
