1976 Ford F-350 Look at this 1976 classic Ford 1 ton truck. An unbelievable amount of time and effort went into customizing this old truck; the pictures don’t do it justice. To fully appreciate the craftsmanship that went into this truck. you must see it with you own eyes. This truck has a 460 V8 engine. bored . 040 over with Keith Black pistons. crane cam and Eldelbrock timing chain. It has a Customized 1979 hood. fenders. grill and bumper. The cab has shaved door handles with remote key entry. custom dual exhaust stacks with double wall piping. a Wolo model 460 air horn. and a rear facing spotlight. The bed is 32 inches off the ground and is 7 feet wide by 11 feet long. It has a removable boom that is 5 feet off the bed and 5. 5 feet long. 1 inch thick oak decking that has just been refinished. and 3 toolboxes incorporated under the bed. A fourth toolbox contains two group 31T batteries to accommodate the truck electronics. Some extensive and professional modifications have been done to the frame and bed to reinforce it. All electronics feeds are protected by a customized 9 breaker assembly within the battery compartment. Truck has duel rear wheel tires that are all new Toyo Hyparadial R16 tires with chrome hubcaps. A spare tire is mounted behind the cab on a swing-out arm for easy access. Truck is an automatic and has cruise control. adjustable seats and is licensed as an antique in Washington State. A pioneer sound system with Highliner speakers is also installed. The vehicle starts runs and performs quite well with the following exceptions. 1. At slow parade speed on hot days the temperature rises to unacceptable levels. The electric fans can’t move enough air through the radiator. At highway speed temperature drops back to normal. (Higher capacity fan should solve this problem) 2. Some electrical wiring was never completed and will require attention by someone with proper knowledge.
