1969 Mustang Grande

Up for auction is a very nice 1969 Mustang Grande with a 390ci 4V GT engine and C6 automatic transmission. The engine was rebuilt 2 years ago to stock specs with the only addition being a Comp Cams camshaft. It has its original C9 intake, utolite 4300 carb, T exhaust manifolds and hard to find Mustang style 390 air cleaner assembly with snorkel and heat shield.

Ford only built about 22,000 Mustang Grande’s in 1969. The Grande model was the luxury Mustang to be opposite the new Mach I. It had special luxury appointments added to the coupe body style. The most notable was the cloth seats.

This is an original Arkansas car which still has all its factory sheet metal. The frame rails, loor pans, orque boxes, nd shock towers are in excellent rust free condition. The car has been repainted in the original Candy Apple Red color (T-code) and is very presentable with only minor imperfections. The black vinyl top is new.

The Deluxe black interior has been redone with recovered door panels, ew dash pad, ew carpet, nd new seat upholstery done with original Grande style cloth inserts. The AM/8 track stereo radio is also factory original. See Marti report.

This is an excellent running and driving vehicle (small exhaust puff in left manifold). It has Air Conditioning (working), ower steering, ower disc brakes and near new Michelin tires on Ford factory steel rims with near perfect Grande style Wire Wheel covers. The Ford glass is in very nice condition along with all trim and bumpers. The VIN tag, oor tag and axle tag are still in place. I have a clean Michigan Title in my name.
