Ford Bronco 1990 Description

So get ready for the lengthy narrative……I bought this truck for my son in 2008 as his “Back and forth to school” vehicle.
• Fail Number one on my part. 14mpg is EXPENSIVE.
The transmission developed a good sized seal leak. Not from the front or back. In fact I am still not sure where it is leaking. It is a fairly quick leak. The transmission works great, t just has the leak. I decided to buy him a newer model Dodge Neon so we could save on gas. My plan was to park the Bronco for a bit, ind and fix the leak, nd then use it to play around in the desert, ecause it ran so well and with only 89000 miles, t could provide quite a few problem free years.
That was in 2009…
• Fail Number two on my part
So after sitting for 6 years, decided to find the transmission leak, lean it up and sell it. Someone else had decided to move in……(See picture #4)
After cleaning the cholla cactus out of the engine compartment, I noticed that the little ^$^&@) decided that the fuel injector wires were tasty, nd so were a couple of vacuum lines.
TIME TO CUT MY LOSSES….
The Positives…. • 302 EFI • 89000 miles • Push Button 4WD that works great • Interior decent for its age
The issues.... • Transmission has a leak • Some wires have been eaten and will need to be sorted out. It does not look like a lot • Was originally an Indiana truck so it does have some rust around the wheel wells, ailgate and a little around the lower doors. • Tires have tons of tread but are dry • Needs a new compressor and I would convert to R134A when it is replaced.
I cannot warranty or guarantee anything right now. The motor ran great when we parked it. I have a lot of automotive experience, just don’t have time to work on it, o my loss is your gain.
RESERVE is $500 so if you like projects, his is a very inexpensive one to get into. Whoever wins the auction is getting a vehicle that should be a relatively easy fix for not a lot of money. The truck is located in Marana, Z. BUYER is responsible for pick up. It will need to be trailered.
