Ford Other 1947 Description
Up for sale is Frankenstein Frank for short. It's a 1947 Ford panel truck with a 1939 Chevy (with 37 grill section) Superior Glass fiberglass tilt nose mounted on a 1999 S10 frame powered by a 350 Chevy Lt1 4 speed overdrive transmission with posi rear end. This truck is my daily driver not a show vehicle by any means but could be if that would be your intention. Very reliable truck and I use this to haul everything and anything as there is 9' of space behind the leather bench seat. The body is pretty much rust free with assorted dents/blemishes and the fiberglass nose does have a few fractures and splits but is overall very sound. Aluminum radiator with auxilary electric fans heater digital dash (speedo and tach are non functional) some stainless exhaust new front disc brake parts/ball joints rear drum brakes 2 barrel Holley carb single wire alternator and the list goes on and on. Needs a few things or just run as is as I have done for the last year or so. This is definitely an attention getter and could be a great traveling bill board for your business. Again it's a very reliable daily driver vehicle and was built as such. It has assorted rattles and creaks but has a terriffic amount of charm and extreme attention getting poise. Is registered and driven in CT daily as a 1947 Ford and has no title as this is not required in CT for this age vehicle. Would be sold with a bill of sale and copy of present registration. Is being advertised locally so auction may be ended at any time.
