Ford Mustang 1984 Description

The SVO was a limited run Mustang produced only 1984-1986. This model features a Hurst 5 speed manual transmission Turbo charged 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine power rack and pinion steering special Koni front adjustable shocks 4 wheel disc brakes leather interior. This specific car had the original black paint stripped off to bare metal and repainted in clear coat black. There was no rust on the body and the frame is solid. Car is to original specs no modifications have been made. New battery just installed; new rack and pinion steering and new steering wheel linkage was just installed last summer. Other items replaced are adjustable Koni front shocks rear shocks headliner factory leather shift nob and Ford exterior logos. Runs well with no known mechanical issues. AC did work but has freon leaks and is not currently charged. Tires have only about five thousand miles on them but are several years old. Driver's seat shows heavy wear; front passenger has one spot where seam is coming apart; back seat in excellent condition; leather worn on steering wheel rim. Dash is free from cracks and still looks good. At a flip of a switch car can run on regular or premium fuel depending on how you want it to perform. Turbo provides power of a V8 when desired or you can drive conservatively and get the economy of a 4 cylinder. Fun car to drive and there were only 10000 made over 3 years. Hagerty values an SVO in good (number 3) condition at $9400. This SVO is a 3 plus. Comes with owner's manual and SVO factory brochure.
