Ford Mustang 1967 Description
This is a no reserve auction for my 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe.
It is a project car I acquired from an estate.
It has minimal rust but is definitely a project. The main areas of concern are the front floor boards, the driver’s side has some pinholes, and both sides have surface rust. Also the trunk has some pinholes in front of the gas tank access panel and in some corners.
I was told the car was in a driver’s side corner collision at some point, and the owner started to put in a panel in the front left (driver’s side) engine compartment, but it still needs welded. I think they replaced the hood and fenders as well.
The frame rails look solid. The car is from New Mexico, so the rust did not get to bad.
The interior is shot, but the seat and instrument panel are there. The dash cover is melted and warped.
The car started as a 6- cylinder. Now has a 289 with a three speed, and aftermarket radiator. I started it, (but did not drive it as the clutch is not hooked up) and the engine sounds good. I know no other history on the engine.
While it is a project, it is a good starting point with a solid frame. It comes with all the parts shown in the photo.
It does not have a title, and is sold as a project only.
