Ford Thunderbird 1956 Description
Just in and up for auction is one of the coolest T-Birds that I have ever seen or owned in my 30 years as a Classic Car Dealer. This is the way a T-Bird should be. It was bought and restored to be a Pro Touring Resto Mod T-Bird. Man is this thing Awesome. For starters it now has a new GM Crate ZZ-350 Engine which is a ton better than the original 312 V8 that came in it. A GM 700R Automatic Overdrive Transmission was installed which made this thing where you can now drive itacrossCountry without any issues. Because of the overdrive Interstate driving is now a breeze. A HEIDT'S Front End was purchased and so now the T-Bird has Power Rack-N-Pinion Steering. Power Disc Brakes were installed along with Vintage A/C. A Be Cool Alum. Radiator and a new wiring harness were also installed. The complete interior including the dash was covered in Real Leather. Six way leather bucket seats were re-done and installed. A Custom Wood Grain Interior Kit was bought and a Sony Remote CD playerwas installed. A custom dash was built with aftermarket gauges. A tilt column was installed along with all new glass. All the trim was re-done or replaced. New PPG paint was put on and a Continental Kit was added. New Wide White Wall Radial tires were put on and the original Fender Skirts were re-built and repainted. Talk about a Sharp T-Bird that is now ready to be enjoyed THIS ONE IS IT! I was told that over $100K has been spent on this T-Bird however I am selling it for way way less than that. I might even consider a trade on this T-Bird. If you have a trade in call me and I will get you to send me your trade in pictures. Both financing and delivery are available. Feel free to fly in and inspect this car in person. I will gladly pick you up at the airport. I have more pictures of this car plus you can also see it on my web site. I answer or return most calls or e mails after 7 O'Clock in the evening. If you miss me just keep trying... 423-667-9956. Or leave a message and I will get back in touch with you. I have owned over 60 1955-1956 and 1957 T-Birds in the past and this one is by far the best built and driver of them all. This is the way a T-Bird should ride and drive! I have both Bought and Sold Classic Cars at Barrett Jackson and Mecum and am not to impressed with either one. Why pay Double for a car that you can't even drive and then pay all the fee's when you can Buy a For Sure Bargain and take your time doing it? Be sure and call me with any questions or trades at 423-667-9956. Thanks and God Bless...
