Ford Thunderbird 1967 Description

1967 FORD THUNDERBIRD 4 DOOR HARDTOP LANDAUSHOW WINNER
I have won the following:2014, Relay for Life 1st Place, Nashville, TN2015, Top 25, Lebanon, TN2016, 2nd Place, Class V, Unrestored 1951-1996, Granville, TN
This Wonderful Classic was a one owner car before my purchase. She is equipped with the 390/310 hp, optional bucket seats & console, 8-track/am radio, p/s, p/b, p/w, p/seat, & air conditioning of which only 1,200 were manufactured in '67 with this combo. I have enjoyed her with my grandkids at car shows and cruise-ins. The grandkids' favorite feature is the "backward" doors aka suicide doors (but we don't mention that to them !)
The interior has absolutely no tears in seats, arm rests, door panels or overhead. Dash is perfect with no cracks or warps. The exterior has no rust as the frame is also very good. She has been garaged since day one. There is no rust under the vinyl roof, though by rear window (lower left) there was a one inch repair which was done. This was not rust but a slight tear. The following maintenance/repairs have been done. Rebuilt all power window switches for flawless operation. recent new starter, rebuilt water pump, new battery, overhauled carb, new headlight switch, dual resonator mufflers, rebuilt transmission & very good tires. Receipts for all maintenance. The sequential tail light turn signals work perfect. The hide-away headlights work perfect. We also left the bumper stickers such as Bush for President (first Bush...LOL !)
Since our possession we have acquired a few scratches on exterior and 2 dings on the chrome (front) by the hood. That is why she did not place First this year. First Place went to an '87 Buick Grand National which was good competition. We are selling her because we now have five grandkids and decided to replace her with a custom van for our needs. Only items that need attention is freon in a/c and radio. Radio gets signals & speakers work but have problem sometimes with antennae to raise.
