Ford F-100 1962 Description
This is a very clean, ready to drive 1962 F100 Short bed pickup. The truck was partially restored - inside and out, Has a modern 351 Windsor motor with many chrome components, a 4 barrel holley carb, restored interior, window gaskets, glass, exhaust, trim, bumpers, etc... Car had some body work done and received high quality paint/finish. The body work appears to be showing some flaws and rust in certain (typical) places - due to weather/exposure - tried to show these in pictures. I am not an expert on body work, but I suspect the spots/areas in question can be repaired. Bed was painted with bed-liner surface coat. Tires are nearly new and classic hubs are matching and perfect. When I bought the truck 2 years ago, I drove it home 200 miles without any problems. Has been driven lightly since that time.Truck runs really well and could serve as a daily work vehicle/driver with a few tweaks. Turn signals and horn do not currently work, but that may be something as easy as a bad fuse - former owner said they worked for him. Truck is not currently fitted with seat belts.
Please feel free to ask any questions you have about the truck. I have other collector cars and I know how important it is to receive accurate, reliable descriptions/information when making a decision as a buyer. I have tried to describe/paint a complete picture of what you are bidding on here - it is a good old truck that does require some additional work. This is NOT a show vehicle, but could be brought to that level with some work. I have included many pictures of the truck If you have questions, I encourage you to ask. Truck is being sold "AS IS".
I require a non-refundable $500 deposit by certified check at end of auction. And will only accept cash or certified check for the balance of payment upon vehicle pickup. If you wish to arrange shipping, that is up to you and at your expense. Thank you for looking!
