Ford Bronco II 1984 Description
1984 Ford Bronco 2 mechanic owned (14 years), motor rebuilt 52,000 miles ago; bored .030' oversize, new piston, camshaft & lifter, machine shop rebuilt heads, new oil pump, timing gear, block was thermal cleaned & magnifluxed& new cam bearings installed motor assembled with premium Fel-Pro gaskets and reground crank shaft with new bearings. I have only used synthetic oil since built, changed oil and greased chassis and running gear every 3000 miles ( also add STP for the advantages of ZDDP AKA lead) anti-wea, this is no longer found in conventional oils. Brakes new last year front calipers/pads; rear new drums, wheel cylinder, shoes and metal lings. It will stop on a dime and give you a quarter back. Front suspension rebuilt 7 years ago, ball joints, split I-beam bushings, and split I- Beam bushings (aligned). Current tires have 40 K miles on them, rotated every 3K mile, they have absolutely no misalignment wear issues, steering is still tight, ball joints showing no wear ( it is amazing how long something will last if properly maintained/ greased). All new shocks replaced 8Kmiles ago. Just tuned in April new plugs, rotor and distributor cap/new air filter. Paint ( looks good but definatey not Barrett-Jackson)and body work 2 years ago, rust cut out and new steel welded in, front fenders are 2 years old. There is no rust holes in floors, the door bottoms are solid and rust free, frame is still nice and solid, quarter windows and windshield were removed resealed and put back in no water leaks any place. All lights work properly ( with the exception of emergency brake light on dash, missed wire when I replaced harness) emergency brake works fine rear cables new 3 years ago. I replaced dash / engine wiring harness years ago ( no issues what so ever). I wanted gauges instead of idiot lights factory gauges all wor, as well a add on mechanical gauges oil/temperature. New clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing 52, still like new, clutch master/slave cylinder 3 years old. All drive shafts are in excellent condition rebuilt 3 years ago. Transmission is a 4 speed and 4 wheel drive works fine as it should. This vehicle leaks nothing. Has about $1000.00 worth of spare parts transmission, block, heads transfer case just to name a few. ON the highway I average 20-21 MPG. So why am I selling this great ride, I am retired and do not really need 5 vehicles. All I do to this vehicle is change oil lube chassis, adjust valve every 7500 miles, and drive it . I would not be afraid to drive it coast to coast. I am sure I have missed a few things. This auction is for Bronco and 14 year collection of parts ( there are quite a few. Also starter/alternator/radiator/heater core/ power steering pump 5 years old. Also has a premium headliner snaps up to aluminum bars, will not fall down on your head ( like the factory junk ones did).Vehicle is sold as is/ were is no warrant, $500 deposit by pay-pal is du, (not refundable) within 48 hours of auctions end balance within 7 days cash only. True miles unknown 2nd speedometer shows 44 K.Any questions just ask.
