Ford F-350 1986 Description

86 Ford F-350 Crew Cab.Dualrear wheels. Last on the road in 2003. Sat in acarportlast 13 years. Purchased from theoriginalowner. I've had it in mypossessionfor the last 10 days . Heres what I know about it.
The Good.......Very solid 99% rust free truck. Has the big 460 V8 engine and heavy duty auto trans. New plugs and plug wires. Not sure of the rear gear. After market trailer brake controler. Flip down gooseneck hitch in bed and light/brake plug. Also plugs on the rear bumper. Has some paperwork and original owners manual in the glove box.Interiorwill clean up pretty nice. Rip on thedriver'sside of bench seat I'll get pics once it's clean as its gonna get.
The Bad.Looks likesquirrelslived under the hood for most of those 13 years. They snacked on most of the wirin, hoses and belts. There was about 16 pounds of stick, leaves and droppings on top of the engine. Also a nest on top of the front fuel tank. Got it all cleaned out, tried to turn it over and it was stuck.. Pulled the plugs and filled each cylinder with Mystery oil. worked it a little each day with abreakerbar until itfreedup. It now turns overeasilywith the starter.Solenoid has to be jumped due to the chewed up wires. Seems to have good compression and I think once the fuel system is cleaned out it will run. I was unable to get any spark from the coil. Again probably the wiring. Brake peddle is also froze. Think its the master and booster. No damage seen under the dash board. Does not look like any critters got inside the cab.
This truck will have to be towed, traileror transported. It is non running at this time but rolls freely.I brought it home on my 18' open car hauler. Its to big for this trailer.I'll help in any way to get it transported.Sold as is and where is. No warranty expressed orimplied. Any questions feel free to ask before you buy. Thanks for looking.
