1987 Ford F350 Cummins conversion with less than 90K original miles on both chassis/driveline and engine/trans. Overall good original unrestored condition. Engine is from 1991.0 Dodge Ram D250 Cummins Turbo Diesel that also has just over 80K original miles. (Full history known) Clean and Clear Diesel Title in my name. (Was original a 6.9 IDI Truck)

The Vehicle has been in full service, running and Driving as it sits today for the past year and a half. It has had ~6000 miles driven since conversion, with most of those miles on long road trips, and/or towing a 23' Toy Hauler. Any and all bugs have been worked out during this time, and I would consider the vehicle sound and in excellent mechanical shape overall to provide many years of service without any major maintenance.
Front Axle Stock original Kingpin Dana 60 high pinion 3.54 Gears. Open carrier. Resealed and regeared with OEM Dana R&P by River City Differentials. New Spicer Axle U Joints and 1410 Yoke New Brake Calipers, Lines and Pads. Front Leaf Springs re-arched and overhauled with new bushings all around from Sacramento Spring & new ubolts used.
Rear Axle Original Sterling 10.25 Regeared to 3.54 with OEM new later model long pinion Factory Ford Ring and Pinon and Crush Sleeve eliminator - work all done by RCD. Detroit Tru-Trac carrier. 1410 Yoke. PML Differential cover with Oil Temp sender. Ruff Stuff Disc Brake Conversion. Custom new brake hard lines and stainless braided soft lines. Emergency Brake Moved to Pinion Brake with custom length e-brake cable on the Output of NP205 Transfer case. Stock Leaf Springs with new Ubolts. After initial R&P break-in, Filled with Synthetic Lube.
Transfer Case: Newly Rebuilt Divorced NP205 From 70's highboy. (3) 1410 Yokes. Set up for twin stick. (currently using single stick with custom mounts) modified ford highboy factory NP205 crossmember mounted in the middle of chassis to facilitate same length driveshafts front and rear. (3) New custom 1410 Driveshafts. New gear ratio corrected drive and driven speedo gears with new custom length Speedo Cable.
Transmission: Getrag 5 Speed 2wd style Transmission with just over 80K original miles. Transcool auxiliary coolers with temp sender probe installed. Modified Dodge Transmission crossmember.New Clutch disk. Flywheel bored and new input shaft ball bearing installed. New Throwout bearing.Top Cover, rear Tailhousing and output shaft seal replaced/resealed. Filled with Royal Purple Synthetic 5w30.
Engine: Stock Fueled non intercooled 1991.0 Cummins engine. New head from B&R head and block with new stock flow 7mm injectors with new HG and ARP studs. Resealed VE pump set to stock fueling but with 366 3200 RPM Gov Spring. Piston Style lift pump (for VE) 60LB Valve Springs. Gaskets replaced top to bottom (oil pan/Timing Cover/Valve Covers/tappet cover/head gasket/etc) and block painted with Cummins Apex Red Paint. KDP Killed. New 2nd Gen Style Vacuum Pump. New Power Steering pump. Injectors brand new 7mm Bosch purchased at Diamond Diesel in West Sacramento. Valve lash adjusted. BD Pulse exhaust Manifold. New Holset HE300VG VGT turbo (from 2013+ Ram Cummins trucks) with Stand Alone Steed Dolan Banshee II controller with integrated exhaust brake function. Stock Fan. New Fan Clutch with new Fan Shroud. New Gauge senders for fluid pressure and temps. New Cummins OEM water pump. New A/C Compressor, lines and orings, blows cold. EGTs stay under 1200 at full load uphill when towing. New 100 Gallon Fuel Tank in bed. (Primary/Sole Fuel Supply) New 4" diamond eye exhaust with muffler. All wiring is insulated and has split looms, and overall very clean. Pre-wired Aux relays available with switches in cab for fog lights etc. New Front Crank Seal and Real Main Seal. New larger style 2nd gen Harmonic Damper. All new heater hoses under the hood including stainless braided coolant hoses for turbo.
Interior: New Headliner, Custom Powder Coated Overhead Gauge pod with Pyrometer, Oil Pressure, Engine Oil Temp, Engine Water temp, Vacuum, Trans Temp, Rear Diff Temp, turbo Boost, Fuel Pressure, Volts. All Stock Factory OEM in-dash gauges are hooked up and work as well except Fuel level and Volts. (Stock dual tanks removed) Very clean overall inside but front bench has rips. Newly installed Tekonsha Voyager trailer brake controller with all new wiring to the back. New pioneer hands free Bluetooth head unit with good speakers. New Heater Core.
Body: Good overall shape, was repainted once about 10 years ago. Could use paint respray on hood and roof but looks ok as is. Tailgate no good. Has dings and dents consistent with being an almost 30 year old truck with less than 100K miles. No rust, original California truck.
Issues: Right turn signal doesn't lock in place. Needs New Tailgate.
Most everything else works, lights, factory and aftermarket gauges, etc. Cruise Control is all hooked up from front to rear with Pulse Generator to actuator, but for some reason doesn't work - needs further troubleshooting.
Lots of other little details went into this and parts replaced that are not listed above. I spared no expense and built it to last.
