I have attempted to describe this car in detail with the best of my knowledge:

History:

·family owned since 1977 with one previous owner from 1966 – 1977; daily driver until 2004; garage stored and driven occasionally since then

·Original black California license plates

Engine:

·289 c.i. V8 motor

·Original 2 barrel carburetor (finicky, but runs well when engine is warm)

·After-market, Pertronix (electro-magnetic), ignition replaced points for much improved performance and reliability

·Stock ignition coil

·Motor rebuilt approximately 50k miles ago

·No smog equipment installed

·Original cast iron exhaust manifolds

·Radiator is three years old

·Heater core is five years old

Driveline, suspension, wheels, and brakes:

·Original C-4 automatic (cruise-o-matic) transmission (leaks a little when sitting for more than a couple days without running)

·Original rear-end

·Original drum brake system

·Original power steering (power ram leaks a little)

·Upgraded 1-1/8” front sway bar for much improved handling

·After-market slotted aluminum wheels, 14”x7” with 205x60xR14 on front & 225x60xR14 on rear (some tire rubbing occurs toward end of suspension travel)

·Tires need to be replaced

·Full spare tire on original rim in trunk with original emergency jack and lug wrench

Interior & Electrical:

·Radio/audio head unit absent; enlarged dash cut-out due to previously installed after-market unit

·Original dash speaker deteriorated and abandoned in place

·After market speakers are installed (Blaupunkt kick-panel speakers in front, pair of 6x9 in trunk boxes)

·Backup light circuit has a short in the harness in the trunk

·Dash pad has a plastic cover that is cracked

·Upholstery in good condition; no tearing or cracking; carpet faded some

·Original front and rear seat belts

·Interior paint wear from retractable seat belts in the front

·Defroster plenum needs to be replaced (original cardboard part has deteriorated)

·Windshield and rear window seals leak slightly when it rains

Body & Paint:

·Overall attractive exterior

·Small dent on left front fender

·Paint (dark emerald pearl color applied in 1998) looks good from 20 feet (see pics), but has numerous chips, scratches and blemishes

·Front left fender and front valence are an after-market replacement due to previous accident (occurred in 1995)

·Body repairs (all prior to current paint) are also present at:

orear (minor dent due reversing into lamp post)

oright-rear quarter panel (prior to 1977)

ohood

·Both doors have some rust repair at the bottom front (not obvious on driver side)

·Driver side door was replaced with an original from a donor car

·Under-carriage has no major rust issues

·Some rust-through on the radiator support near the battery (not easily seen when hood is down)

·Windshield trim pieces have some denting due removal and installation damage
