Ford Mustang 1973 Description
Hello,Up for sale is my 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with numbers matching 351 Cleveland. The car is beautiful, itgets a lot of looks and compliments. Hate to part with the car, but I have to buy a car to replace my current lease. I bought the car in Michigan, 4 years ago from a gentlemen who said he was a friend of the original owner. I have driven the car about a thousand miles since I bought it. The car sounds great and is running great. She made a trip earlier this year from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts with no problems, when I moved here. She passed Massachusetts safety inspection in August and is currently registered as a standard passengercar.
Since I have owned the car, I have done a lot of work to it. Here are some of the highlights:September 2016
- New Edelbrock Performer 2665 Intake Manifold$325 + Parts, $500+ Labor
- New Valve Cover Gaskets $150
- New Ford Racing Air Cleaner $60
- New Blue Mustang Floor Mats $100
- Tire Rotation
- Oil Change
- New Mr. Gasket High Performance 95 GPM Fuel Pump $100
- New Grant Steering Wheel $100
- New Edelbrock 1406 Carburetor $335 + Parts $200 Labor
- Replaced Alternator $79
- New AutoCraft Gold Battery $150
- Replaced Both Front Brake Calipers with Wearever Brake Calipers $117
- New Front Stainless Steel Brake Corporation Short Stop slotted rotors and pads $211
Overall, I think this care is a really great deal, with some more elbow grease, TLC and funding this could be made into a $30,000 car. Unfortunately, I do not have the time or funds to pursue making this car all that it could be.Thank you for looking at my car, happy bidding! Here are the terms of the sale (Wish it could just be a handshake and a smile):1. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time, with or without cause. The car is for sale locally and is going to a Car show on October 9th.2. The car is being sold “as is” “where is.” Meaning there is no warranty on this vehicle, implied or implicit. The car is located in Concord, MA, USA01742.3. If you wish to have the vehicle inspected prior to making a bid, you are welcome to inspect it or have an individual come and inspect it for you. Just please coordinate it with me.4. Buyer is solely responsible for any and all shipping costs. I will help facilitate the shipment of the vehicle for you. However, you must coordinate the shipping date, time, and carrier with me at least 48 hours in advance.5. A deposit of $500.00 is due within 24 hours of auction close via PayPal. Full payment must be made in full seven (7) days after the close of the auction. In the event the full balance of the purchase price, less the $500.00 deposit, is not received within the seven (7) days of Buyer's "purchase" of this vehicle, I reserve and retain the right to declare the Buyer to have defaulted on the terms of this listing and to terminate such sale and relist the vehicle for sale to another party. The $500.00 deposit will be retained as "liquidated damages" and I will owe no duty to the Buyer or any other purchaser to apply such funds to the final purchase price of this vehicle, or to refund such sum to the defaulting buyer.6. The remainder of the payment must be made via Bank certified check or Money Order in US funds. The car will not be released from my possession, until my bank confirms your payment has cleared. On Oct-07-16 at 16:04:47 PDT, seller added the following information:
