Ford Mustang 1966 Description

NO RESERVE!!!
Hello and thank you for looking at my 1966 Mustang Coupe. This 1966 Mustang has a healthy 289 V8 bored .30 over with a mild cam. 2 bbl Carburetor. The previous owner of the car said the engine was rebuilt but, unfortunately, did not have any paperwork. The engine runs great! The headers and dual exhaust give off a beautiful exhaust note. This is a healthy sounding engine without any valvetrain noise. It has the Cruise O' Matic automatic transmission. The car does NOT have power brakes or steering and is equipped with four-wheel drum brakes. Still steers and stops just fine. The tires are in great shape with minimal miles. Has the dog dish wheels that set this apart from the other mustangs on the road. The chrome on this car is complete and still shines. The paint is in pretty good shape as well. The paint is not the original color. The car currently does not have the speedometer cable installed in the vehicle. A new one will come with the car. Currently reads right around 27k. Again, I am unsure if the odometer has rolled over or not. Everything on this vehicle works. Headlights, brights, windshield wipers, interior lights, dash lights, heater, defroster, aftermarket radio/cassette player with in dash speaker. This baby is ready to take on a color tour this Fall. Get in the car and go! The interior is in very good shape as well. No tears in the seats, door panels or ugly cracks through the dash. Carpet is clean. This car is not perfect or a complete OEM restoration. There was some body filler used on the rear and rust repair done to make this a dependable vehicle. Pictures show where paint is flaking by rear window. Fortunately, it does not leak. Just last week I was caught in torrential downpour rain and there were no leaks coming from the windows. There is also some remanufactured aftermarket parts and panels. Do not expect the gaps between the body panels to be up to a vehicle of today's standard. However, this is a solid running, driving, V8 Mustang at an affordable price. It cruises down the freeway straight and comfortably.I will also add that the previous owner had the vehicle appraised for 10.5K. However,I have never had the vehicle appraised.
