Ford F-100 1973 Description
1973 F-100 Ranger I am the second owner it is in original condition a Missouri Survivor truck. Paint interior and drive train are all original, The truck has scratches and some small dings except for driver bed side there is a dent on bedside behind cab it happened when we moved there is rust above the wheel well and below the tail light fairly easy repairs. Engine and drive train are original numbers matching 360 2V with C6 automatic and 3:55 9"inch axle. The seat on the driver side has come unstitched also an easy repair door panels loose but complete dash pad floor mat and all controls are in very good to excellent condition everything works including the cigarette lighter and window washer air conditioner needs Freon pump still works all lines connected it has original jack handle and lug wrench also owners manuals warranty card and service instructions. Original working AM Radio and all interior and exterior bright trim except for tail gate that I replaced the original Owner cave in the original tailgate. Inside of bed has some surface rust from sliding a camper in and out. The screws in the cowl area are for extended mirrors. The wheel are Ford Factory Aluminum alloy from 77 to 83. I began a limited restoration before we moved installing NOS grill inserts new brake system except for lines which includes new rear drums wheel cylinders and hardware and brake shoes, new calipers rotors wheel bearings pads and grease caps and master cylinder Dot 5 Synthetic brake fluid. New exhaust system with muffler, new fuel system from the tank and internal hardware fuel lines pump and rebuilt Carburetor. Battery is over a year old starter replaced three years ago. Radiator serviced with new thermostat and antifreeze. New Halogen head lamps. It is still a points ignition and has power steering with manual front disk brakes. Headliner is excellent and all of the glass. This truck is being relisted due to the Scum Bag Cleanclassiccars (0f Sarasota Fl) refused to honor their bid and winning the auction. They are liars and deceivers so beware of them they also have negative feedback from selling vehicles not as described as well. They are the one of the reasons sellers like myself are not trusting when it comes to selling their personal vehicles. Photos of the rusty spots will be added plus the dented bed side.
