Ford Other Pickups 1951 Description

For sale here I have my mostly original 1951 Ford F1 truck that was found in a Missouri barn after being stored for many years. It has a 1956 Nebraska farm truck front plate on it. The truck has a clear Ks title that matches the glove box and frame stampings. The truck has a flathead V8 that appears to be stuck from sitting but has old oil in it. It is missing mainly the air cleaner and the fan. Each exhaust manifold has a broken bolt where the pipe bolts on and I noticed another broken bolt on the ps water neck. The interior would be usable as is if you were just looking to make the truck a worn driver. The seat is stained but has only 1 tear on the drivers side top. The gauges are very clean and the dash is complete with an AM radio. I don't know what the steering wheel came off of but I'm sure its not original to the truck. The DS window is cracked but rolls up and down easy. The PS window is intact but is difficult to roll up and down. The front and back glass along with there gaskets are bad. INCLUDED IN THE SALE OF THE TRUCK I WILL BUY NEW FRONT AND BACK GLASS ALONG WITH GASKETS FROM LMC TRUCK AND HAVE THEM PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED BEFORE SHIPPING. If the buyer doesn't want the glass installed I can buy it and send it with the truck. I can also pick up any other parts that the buyer might want for the truck from LMC at cost and send them with the truck because I live close to their warehouse (these parts would be paid for by the buyer). I would say that the body of the truck is in above average condition for an original that has never been worked over. It does have some dings and dents from years of use but minimal rust. There's rust above the windshield and the front floors are soft but usable due to the rats nests. The floors under the seat, rockers, cab corners and cowl all appear to be excellent. You couldn't ask for a nicer roof on an old truck. The fulton visor does have some hail dings but the truck does not. The drivers side front fender has the front seam rust like most and both sides have small pinholes back by the running boards. The hood has some rust on the ps exterior by the brace for the hood hinges and the latch mechanism needs work as part of the latch is off and laying on the floor. The hood will be strapped for transport. The grille and front valance are in nice shape but the ps headlight bezel is missing. The running boards are rust free just dented up. The drivers door is very good and the passenger side just has a small spot of rust on the inner panel. The bed sides aren't rusted at all just bent up on the top rails near the back. The rear fenders have some breaks and dings but little to no rust. The rolled bead on both rear fenders has broke free above the tires on both sides but is all there and solid. The tailgate is the worst part of the entire truck it is bent and rusted badly on the bottom. They welded a sheet of steel in over the wood many years ago and the truck has a homemade rear bumper that is bolted not welded on. The frame on the truck is in great shape from front to back. The truck is rolling on 3 of its 4 original wheels with trim rings and hubcaps. The 4th wheel was rusted and missing the cap but is included with the trim ring. To get a good idea of what you're looking at go to 1951fordfultonf1.shutterfly.com for 210 pictures of the truck. All serious buyers are welcome. This truck is selling with no reserve. Thanks and good luck bidding.
