Ford Mustang 1971 Description

Up for sale is a Ford Mustang 1971 Mach 1 429 Super Cobra Jet (Matching number vehicle). Below is a complete history of this particular car of mine;
This Mustang was produced on January 5th in 1971. It was exported out of the states over to Iceland in September of 1973. The car has spent almost its entire life here on Iceland. I have had the car for the last 18 months and I've never used it. The previous owner that I bought the car from has owned it for the last 28 years, or since 1987.
The serial number for this car is1F05J156017
When this car went into production, it was ordered with the following options:
- 4-Speed Closed Ratio Manual transmission- 429 SCJ Engine / Drag pack (375hp)- Power front disc brakes- AM Radio- Tachometer- Magnum 500 Wheels (these were replaced with the current ones on it sometime in its past)
In 1971, Ford built only 1865 Mustangs with the 429 Cobra Jet, including all body styles. Of those cars, only 531 Fastbacks were optioned with the 429 SCJ/Drag pack. This car has the 4.11 Detroit Locker axle ratio and black Ruffino/Corinthian vinyl bucket seats.
The car has never been restored in its past, however I know that it has been painted on the outside around 15 years ago, so I think it could be considered as a survivor. To put the car in a mint condition, it would require a restoration on the inside and on the outside.There is some rust on the rocker panels tha tI am aware of. The pictures show the condition on the car, and I try to show it the best way possible.
Here on Iceland, this car has gone through an inspection every 2 years and the miles are documented through DMV over here every single time, and I know for sure that the milage (45,759 miles) on the car it accurate.To my best knowledge, everything on the car is OEM except the paint, rims/tires, battery and Hooker headers (that were replaced last year).
This car has a clean and clear title and is ready to be shipped back to where it was born.
The buyer is responsible for shipping within the states as I will take care of shipping to the states (Portland, Maine). Shipping should take about 4-6 weeks after auction close.
I do have the right to end the auction early due to local selling as well.
I can provide better/more pictures upon request.
Please feel free to email me with any questions about the car
