Ford Other 1940 Description
1940 Ford Standard. Has a 59 A-B Flathead V8 Engine Approx. 1948 that is machine shop rebuilt and runs great. 3 speed on the column, I have the original heads, intake manifold, distributor, 6 volt generator and many new and used parts. The frame is in excellent condition. Body has a new floor, trunk valance and rear quarter panels. It comes with three good running boards that need rubber covers. It has a new gas tank, complete new wiring harness and many new parts that are not installed yet. Every component of the braking system is new.I have everything that came off the car to complete it. It is missing one opera seat and original gauge cluster (came with old hot rod gauges). It also needs a new interior (I have the old), the correct steering wheel (has a hot rod steering wheel), new glass rubbers, and a grill.
I have no registration but took pictures of the VIN Number on the frame when the body was off. I also have all receipts for the engine and body parts.
We also think this car was a police car at some point. It came with a police siren, a faded police decal in the rear window, and a non-correct antennae for the car.
