Ford Model A 1928 Description

Up for sale is my recently completed 1928 ford ModelA roadster that is built to resemble the look of a pre-war southern California hot rod. The chassis consists of a very nice original ModelA frame with all of its cross members still riveted in. Thefront end is a dropped and filled 1933 Ford axle, with split 1935 Ford wishbones, 1932 Ford spindles, 1940 Ford hydraulic brakes and a stock front spring. Rear end is a stock ModelA with 3.78 gears, 1940 Ford hydraulic brakes and a Model T spring re-arched. The motor is a good running stock ModelA that was taken apart inspected and re assembled with new gaskets, timing gear and oil pump. Distributor, generator and starter are all rebuilt and are still 6-Volt,It runs a Reds headerthat is connected to a modified Model A torque tube. and an Ansen intake with a rebuilt 94 carburetor. Transmission shifts as is should and has a new throw-out bearing and clutch. The stock shifter was replaced with a 1939 Ford swan shifter. Steering box is a rebuilt1931Fordand has a 1946 ford steering wheel. The interior consists of an old tuck and roll seat that was cut down to give you plenty of room in the car. It has padded door panels, kick panelsand side panels, a new reproduction rubber matt and a stock dash bezel with a Stewart Warner gauge. The car rolls on 1940 Ford 16 inch wheels with 600 16's up front and 750 16's out back. The bodyis in extremely nice condition for being 89 years old and has had no metal work done to it. The doorsand deck lid open and close very nicely. The stock gas tank is in perfect condition with no issues. It has a custom cloth wiring harness that is located under the seat. High and low beam on one switch and tail lights on another switch. The headlights are wired with a quick disconnect plug behind the radiator to allow you to remove them easily. The windshield was chopped 2.5 inches and leaned back a 1.5 inches. This car is extremely fun to drive and goes down the road no problem. If you have any questions please contact me.
