Ford Other Pickups 1939 Description
!!!!!NO RESERVE!!!!!! I've come to the realization that I have too many projects and not enough time, so I'm selling off a few of my toys. This 39 ford pickup is a pretty cool little hot rod that I've been tinkering on for about 4 years, off and on. The 289 V8 and C4 automatic were in it when i got it. I swapped out the stock front axle with a dropped axle from Nostalgia Sid's dropped axles. I installed a speedway front disc brake kit while i was at it with a new brake master cylinder and petal. The 10bolt rearend and leaf springs were also on the truck when i purchased it. I had a seat upholstered and door panels made for it a couple years back. The truck is rewired with a 12 circuit speedway harness, pretty bare bones just ignition, charging system, head and tail lights. The tires are about 6 months old with very few miles, fronts are Coker radials, rears are Radir cheater slicks (very high dollar). I had the exhaust done a few months back with dual glasspacks.Im selling the truck as a running and driving project as it does still need some finishing up. I've driven it around some, but wouldn't plan on any long trips utillall bugs are worked out. The motor recently started smoking a little out of the right bank, the rear brakes are non functional (stops fine without them), none of the factory guages work though there is an aftermarket oil pressure and coolant temp guage. It needs exterior door handles and window cranks, and a few other minor things I cant think of at the moment. All and all Its just a fun little hot rod. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have. Good luck, and happy bidding!
A $250 deposit is due at the end of the auction, with the remaining balance due within a week. I take cash, bank wire transfers, and cashiers checks. If doing a cashiers check, the truck stays here until it clears. There are too many fake checks floating around.
