Ford F-100 1953 Description

If you are looking for a truck restored largely to original specs this is one for you. This Golden Anniversary model is a prime example. The truck features a rebuilt 239 cubic inch flathead V-8 engine coupled with a 3-speed, column shift manual transmission. The frame and all sheet metal are solid. The exterior color, in excellent condition, is Goldenrod Yellow and the interior is gray. Front and rear bumpers are chromed, the attractive bed is custom wood with chrome metal strips, all glass has been replaced, all gauges work, and the truck starts without hesitation and runs great, ridingcomfortably at highway speeds without over reving. Comes with optional heater, Golden Anniversary steering wheel hub, running boards with step plate, electric windshield wipers, and has been converted from a 6-volt to a 12-volt system for quicker starting.

This truck came out of a doctor's private collection in New York where it was used sparingly. Since he only occasionally drove the truck he decided to sell it to Wayne Carini, F-40 Motorsports, in Connecticut, of "Chasing Classic Cars." I bought the truck from Wayne.

You are encouraged to come and inspect the truck, or have someone inspect it for you.
