This classic Ford has been fixed up with a Nova donor vehicle to give it a Chevy front clip and rear end. The engine was just rebuilt and this truck runs and drives easily around town and at high speeds on the freeway. Take a look at the pictures, video, and details: Cosmetic - Paint/Body: Body is in shop truck/rat rod condition with a few blemishes here and there and some small rust spots at the lower fenders and cab corners. It's no rust bucket, but its not perfect.
- Interior: Original unmolested dash board with original gauge cluster. New Mexican blanket over original seat that has a few rips in it. Carpet is older but presentable. Door panels look good, window cranks dont have knobs.
- Glass/Windows: New windshield and weatherstripping. Door glass is in good shape, windows are hard to roll up and down and probably need to grease the regulators. Rear glass was cut a little too big and needs to be shaved down and installed with new weatherstripping.
- Trunk: Steel floor in bed
- Undercarriage: Rust free frame rails. Floor pans have minor rust in the front, rear floor pans are in good original condition. Cab corners have some rust, too.
- Wheels/Tires: New wheels with good tires.
Mechanical - Drivetrain: Recently rebuilt 350 V8 starts easily and runs very strong. 700R4 transmission shifts flawlessly. This truck is very easy to drive and will do 80mph+ down the freeway with ease.
- Lights/Electrical: Headlights, tail lights, and brake lights all work.
- Brakes: Power Disc brakes up front stop straight and strong.
- Power Options: Power steering works as it should.
This is a very affordable 56 Ford truck that would make a cool shop truck or rat rod as-is. Or take the time to project and restore it over the years and bring her to any level you like.
