Ford Streetrod 1925 Description
Up for auction is the '25' fiberglass bodied C-cab with nice thick glass. It is powered by a 350 Chevy Stroker with 2-500 CRM Edel-broch carbs.(3/4 race cam). This blue buggy really goes! 350 TH tranny just freshly rebuilt. Ford 8" rear. Mickey Thompson 50's on the back. Passengers side rim has a dent in it that could be replaced. The headlights, taillights, brake lights and 'whistle' horn all work. The speedo works along with gas gauge, temperature gauge, amp. It comes with 2 SMMU bucket seats. I didn't care for them so built a makeshift plywood bench seat& cover with blanket for temporary use. It does not have any door so kind of a maneuver to get in, but once you're in, it is a real thrill to drive! It runs and idles excellent. It runs cool & stops good. It has a Chevy tilt wheel. The only issue would be installing the seats of your liking. The plywood seat that I put in for temporary use is not real comfortable as no padding and pretty stiff & thought you should know. It rumbles and it only really loud when you can it. It sounds really mean with gear driven sound. The back door opens with a popper. Plenty of room for a big set of speakers in the rear. It has a new tranny cooler installed and could be placed behind radiator to hide it better. I mounted it there for best cooling results. Please contact me to share phone numbers to further discuss this street rod. I am no expert on these street rods & would answer any questions to the best of my ability.
