This truck underwent a full disassembly prior to the restoration, including the removal of all the exterior trim, glass, grill surround, grills, emblems, lights, marker assemblies, and weatherstrip. The bumpers, bumper brackets, and wheels were also removed, and the wheels sent out for sandblasting and powder coating in correct Wimbledon White. The interior was removed, along with the doors, fenders, tailgate and hood. Finally, the body and bed were removed from the frame, and the mechanicals sent out for rebuilt.

The original S-code Midnight Blue Metallic paint was sanded and stripped as necessary, and the body panels sealed, primed, and hand-blocked to the beautiful condition you see today. The door hinges were rebuilt, and the doors, fenders, and hood aligned and blueprinted for final assembly after paint. The truck was treated to a full and complete high-end base/clear Midnight Blue Metallic paint job featuring a subtle multi-color metal. The truck appears almost black in low light, and just glitters in direct sunlight; beautiful.

The paint job was done as it was from the factory, complete including the interior, door jambs, and the underside of the hood.

The bed is rust-free, and features a spray-in bed liner and bright diamond-plate aluminum bed rail & tailgate caps.

The frame was sandblasted and powder coated, axles cleaned and painted, drivelines and transfer case detailed, crossmember powder coated, fuel tank restored, new brake lines, fuel lines, fasteners, etc... the underside of the truck is beautifully detailed. The floors, rockers, frame, cab mounts, corners, etc. are also rust free and solid.

The complete exhaust system is new, featuring full 3” tubes and dual Flow Master 40-series custom mufflers... the truck sounds very tough.
