Ford F-150 1979 Description
Up for sale is my 1979 Ford F150. It has had everything done to it other than the frame being blasted and painted. I have owned the pickup for about 12 or 13 years. I bought the truck as a project in progress. The guy I bought it from was a friend and co workerof mine. He went through and did the brakes, hocks, ngine, nd transmission. The engine is a performance built BBF 460 with a mild 100 shot of nitrous.I installed the nitrousafterI restored the truck.I've only used 3 bottles on it.Thetrans is a rebuiltB&M trans with the good clutches, ands and shift kit ect. When I bought the truck it was a daily driver for about 3 or 4 years. Isavedup money for the restoration and spent 3 years fully restoring it inside and out. All the sheetmetal is all original ford iron with absolutelyNO rust. The paint is top of the line Martin Senior base/mid/clearcoat. It is a custom yellow tricoat pearl paint. The restoration has been completed for about 7 years or so. It is storedin thegarage and only comes out for the shows or varyspecial occasions. The truck runs very strong and still looks very good. I have won several awards with it at the shows. The bed has a sprayed in bedliner as well as a carpetedbedrug. It has a holley electric fuel pump, tainless fuel hose, 0 gal. aluminum fuel cell. Full length header and trueduel exhaust. The carb is a1 year old 750cfm race demon. The internals of the engine consist of all new bearings, tock rods, tock crank,(all checked and inspected)performance cam and intake. I do not remember the specs on the cam. The rear end has also been gone through and I installed 3.50 gears with a tru trac locker. I have a set of 4 aluminum wheels and also a pair of custom built15x12beadlock wheels for when I run slicks. I haul it to the shows so before its driven on the street it will need new street tires put on it. Its never been on an actual drag strip but the car shows I attend have races at the airports. The interior has bucket seats with 5 point harnesses installed. All gauges work and has a 5" tach with adj. shift light and recall. I installed a Cd played with speakers in the door and also in the cab corners behind the seat. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I have over 25,000 invested. I have 2 more projects I want to start on so this one needs to go. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
