Ford Other Pickups 1980 Description
Up for auction is a 1980 Ford Courier pickup. I am listing the vehicle for a friend. A clean Oregon title in hand. The truck does not run. It does crank over with a battery( the truck does not have a battery). It may need a new ignition coil, t doesn't have spark to fire. The in-line fuel pump may also need replaced. The vehicle appears to have 93,000 original miles. The water and oil look good. Some slight rust in both front fenders, ess on the driver side. Both floors seem to be solid. The bed floor has surface rust. The tail gate works, ut appears to be a replacement( butterscotch paint under the red paint ). The truck has a factory rear window defogger, omething I have never seen before on a small truck of this vintage.Unsure if any lights or gauges work. The tires are poor and only the driver side ones hold air any length of time. The passenger rear tire goes flat in less than 30 minutes. The bed has some wear on both sides where a load hit the marvelous single wall construction. There is some silicone around the windshield. The driver inside door handle and window crank handle are both broken. The front bumper is bent but included. .A good start for a return to stock, owrider or 4X4 conversion.
The vehicle is in a town about 15 minutes away, o additional photos may take until the next day.If you have any questions or would like more photos, lease email. You can also call me at (503) 569-8045.The title says the truck is an '81, ut the sticker on the driver door jamb says 6/80. Seems like DMV originally titled the truck incorrectly. The license plates are most likely the ones issued when truck was first registered after it was sold new.
A non-refundable Paypal deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end. The winning bidder has 3 weeks to pick up the vehicle unless other arrangements are made.
Thanks for looking.
