Ford Model A 1930 Description

1930 Ford Model-A Tudor Hot Rod

Sweet ride, irst-class build street rod!

Professionally built in the 1990s, f the finest parts, aterials and details to show and go with quality and safety throughout. The car still looks like it was done just a few years ago as it has been driven very little- only 6,630 miles! Everyone complements this car.

Exceptional detail and all the right goodies are built into this one. A full steel body resto-rod built on the TCI Stage III chassis with a beautiful polished SS independent Mustang II designed front suspension. Stainless coil-overs all the way around. The roof was tastefully chopped 2 ¾ inches, o give it the right look while maintaining a comfortable driving position and good visibility. A vinyl roof was installed over new wooden roof bows and all the right materials were utilized- it is the nicest job I have ever seen. Tinted glass, nd even the rear side windows roll down and windshield tilts open! The car has a high-end vintage air conditioning system, ut I have never run the A/C and since the prior owner showed the car and didn’t drive it much the unit will need a re-charge servicing. Excellent Ron Francis wiring harness and fuse panel with modern blade fuses. High capacity 60 amp alternator and Sanyo air compressor are polished aluminum with stainless brackets!

A very complete build was done from the ground up and no expense was spared. Even new inner fender panels and new floor panels with a new recessed firewall from Bitchin Products. The body was real done right this is not a Bondo bucket! Extensive chrome, olished aluminum and stainless details everywhere you look- from the valve covers to the oil pan. Remote oil filter with chrome cover and braided stainless lines. Also Stainless braided hoses for the transmission cooler, he air conditioning and heater lines and more. Everything was done right. Even new tinted safety plate glass windows

The engine is a 400 Corvette built up by a professional performance shop. Included were a mild ¾ Cam Dynamics that gives the motor plenty of snap, ut keeps it very comfortable. Not a radical cam. Edlebrock Torker roller- rockers, nbsp;polished aluminum valve covers and trim. The engine and trans are cooled through a custom radiator with stainless recovery tube. Accel Hi-output performance module and distributor. Polished intake manifold, lternator and A/C compressor motors too. Anodized aluminum hugger headers, tainless braid details, nd too much to list it all. Nice details everywhere, rom the aluminum oil pan, hrome transmission pan and stainless coil over shocks.. Vintage Air (needs a recharge). The engine runs strong and cool with no issues. Hardly driven by the prior owner. I have just fitted 4 new radials less than 100 miles ago as the original tires had flat spots from the prior owners lack of use. He just loved looking at it!

Smooth shifting TH400 transmission with Genie Shifter. And a 9” Ford Rear-end. When I started driving the car I decided to calm the performance down a bit by replacing the 411 rear end with a new, ore civilized 300 Pumpkin from a pro rear-end builder. I also swapped out the spinners on the wire wheels for smooth caps and I replaced the flying wing radiator cap with a smooth cap, ut if you would prefer that trim I will include those parts, as seen in 1st photo). The 411 rear is available. The car still goes like stink with the 300 and is more comfortable for cruising. Speedometer ratio adapter was installed to accurately display speed after rear-end change.

4-piston, olished front calipers, M dual master cylinder brakes with proportioning valve. . I just refreshed the front brakes with new rotors and pads, s I had it apart for inspection. True Spoke Chrome wire wheels are sure a nice touch

Beautiful interior with VDO Heritage gauges and custom varnished wood dash. All of the gauges and lights work but the twin saddle gas tanks have a switch that allows the gas gauge to monitor one side or the other. That is not working properly and the wiring should be gone over for that. Electric drivers seat and interior trim built fro Cadillac Cimarron components. All the gauges work but the clock-reset arm does not so you have to unplug and wait for correct time before energizing. Very nice leather, ilt steering wheel, lectric drivers seat. Nice luggage rack with wood trim. No wipers.

The dark green paint with gold pin stripes is in exceptional condition. After it’s build, he car was a show rod and driven very little. I have owned the car for 5 or 6 years and have decided it is time for fewer cars in the garage! New battery with pigtails for Battery Tender installed this summer. New tires just fitted. My front-end guy has not been available to do an alignment now that I have fitted 4 new tires, o you will want to do that. Also on my to do list is new spark plug wires as I found one frayed and general adjustments and going over.

The body, aint and interior are exceptionally nice with very few signs of wear. Small paint crack near one of gas tank fillers should be touched up. It still looks like a new paint job because the car was built right, nd has been driven less than 7,000 miles. I just changed the spark plugs, nd the old plugs looked like new.

The only non-steel on this body is the small fiberglass rear panel behind the rear bumper; (a steel replacement panel was not available at the time.

It would cost double what I am asking to build this car. "Buy it now" represents a very, ery nice value for someone who wants a quality hot rod. That is certainly less than I have in it! I'm seeing cars of lesser quality for $10,000 more than the Buy it Now, ut I would like to move it before year end! Does this car need anything? Depending upon your preference, ou might want to swap the mufflers out for stainless, ust for looks, lenty of life in current dual exhaust and it sounds sweet, ut stainless would look better - if you care. Might change coil over springs to a softer spring for a softer ride or remount them to the lower mounting holes, t is set up for a firm performance ride now and it really handles like a sportscar. But I can see where the coil overs were once mounted to the lower holes. Bumpers are perfect. You’ll notice the grill is perfect all the chrome is very good. Nice chrome stone guard on the front of radiator really sets off the front end. If you enjoy detailing, ou can go to town polishing all the chrome, tainless steel and alloy under the hood you will find it really dazzles! Only paint mark is an area around one of the fillers that would be easy to touchup. I must admit, have not kept up with polishing and the detailing would really come to life with a little metal polishing. Documentation includes a comprehensive notebook of specs and receipts from the build along with various catalogs of parts used. Sold as is/where is. Fly into near-by airport (MHT Manchester) if you would like to see the car. I will not give this car away, lease don't insult me, nbsp;but it will sell for far, ar less than it is worth! This is a very nice car.
