Ford Other Pickups 1935 Description

Fully custom Hot Rod shop truckThis truck was built asour shop truck and is a complete one-off build. Some call it a "Rat Rod" - but we just call it a modern take on a traditional hot rod -without paint. There's nothing "rat" about this machine. It's extremely well-built and dead nuts reliable. Most of all it's a joy to drive - it makes whoever gets in it grin ear to ear within seconds. The truck did an "EXTRA LONG HAUL" of the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour this year - by extra long haul, e drove from Oakland CA to MadisonWisconsin to start the tour - then drove from Madison to Baton Rouge, nd back to Oakland in a period of 2 weeks. The only issues we had in over 6,000 miles of the trip was: 1. A sunk carb float (fixed in a parking lot) and 2. A destroyed cheap front wheel bearing (fixed in rural Alabama from a parts store bearing kit).
A chronicle with photos of the awesome, un infused, ife altering experience can be seen at:alloy motors.com
You too can have this much fun - and more.
Some early build pics can be seen here at my website
Take a look at the pics... this truck rocks. It's solidly built... and fast (I pulled a 12.5 second 1/4 mile pass on the Power Tour with one wheel peel and a skinny tire - beating a 60's GTO!" It's near 300 HP - and weighs around 1700 - 1900 pounds... that's fast math.
It handles well - You can let go of the wheel on the highway. There is virtually no bump steer. It's not a Death trap like some so called "Rat Rods" - It's more akin to riding a motorcycle - it's fast, o you have to respect it. It doesn't stop or handle like a new car - but it's a blast to drive!

Known Issues:Only 1 - Rear end pinion is a little loose when going into reverse - Rear end likely needs to be re-set and pinion bearings replaced soon. For the right bid - I'd consider taking care of this before it goes to it's new home.
If bidding goes 10% over my reserve - I will remove my logos from the doors, nd my info on the rear - and design and paint something for you in place, nd "Faux-Tina" it as well. Limited to something that will take no longer than 12 hours or so to design and mask / paint.
I am happy to ship internationally - my shop is near the port of Oakland.
I welcome questions - and will answer them as soon as I can.
Title is in my name and clear - vehicle is registered in California and registration is current.
I will gladly ship worldwide - but buyer is responsible for shipping costs, nd if I have to remove engine / etc or crate, uyer will have to pay for these services. Domestic shipping via carrier pick-up is fine.

To everyone asking about a buy it now price. I MAY put one on when the truck hits reserve. And don't ask what the reserve is. The fun of the auction format is bidding. If you think you are getting the truck for cheap, t's not going to happen.... just bid to where you are comfortable. This is a quality build - and has many thousands of hours of design, abrication and detail work - an many thousands of dollars in parts in it. You can email me your price - and I may or may not entertain it - but for now, t's an auction and the market will set the sell price.
