1966 SAN JOSE BUILT MUSTANG GT CONVERTIBLE. Very original car, pringtime yellow with black pony interior, eluxe seat belts, eluxe wood grain steering wheel, lack convertible power top, ith new boot (original boot included), onsole, utomatic (C4) transmission, riginal factory riveted, tyled wheels, including spare) original jack and handle and luggage rack. Door tag still has its’ original rivets and has never been removed. Original, atching drivetrain with engine, arb, ransmission and rear end metal I.D. tags still present. Complete, riginal pony interior in very nice condition. Steering wheel in excellent shape. All engine compartment components are present…original distributor with steel vacuum line, ubes and hoses, ir cleaner heat tube, hoke heat tubes, iring clips and harnesses, tc. Original, ated radiator, tarter sonenoid, gnition coil, ower steering pump & cap, tc. Original Autolite 4100 4V carb (rebuilt by Pony Carb) with all its’ original components. Engine starts with proper choke engagement and steps down to normal idle with warm up as original. All engine gauges work correctly ( fuel, i, mps, emp., ally pack tach). The engine runs smooth, he transmission shifts seamlessly, nd the car tracks straight with the steering wheel centered and stops equally straight during braking. Electric top operates quickly and smoothly. New (July ’15), riginal style GT, luminized exhaust system with resonators. The car has the same sound it left the factory with. Detailed pictures were taken to show the condition of the undercarriage before installation. Frame is excellent, ith no dents or bends from improper lift or jack use. The original air cleaner and valve covers still have their factory paint. This is a very original car, reat for someone who prefers originality to reproduction components. All the components, arge and small are present. Fuel and brake lines are original with their original clips, asteners, olts, tc. I took numerous pictures of the areas of the car that I felt would be of most interest to perspective buyers. All factory GT modifications are present. Buyer will receive a notarized, ritten guarantee that it is a factory built GT, ubject to a complete refund of purchase price (including any shipping charges) if it is determined otherwise. The car was sold new at O’Meara Ford in Denver and still has the dealer’s emblem attached to the rear panel. The dealership is still in business there. I am the third owner of the car. Previous owners contact information will be given to the new owner. I have receipts for work done on the car as far back as 1992. Car is available for inspection by buyer or buyer’s representative.
