Ford Falcon 1962 Description

This 2 Door Ford Falcon station wagon was purchased a few years ago in an elderly gentleman's estate sale. He was retired from working in a body shop, nd restored this car in 1997-1998, This vehicle has been fitted with a 7 main 200 inline six, nd has the ford-o-matic 2 speed automatic. It has a little rust around the edges, nd some bondo was used in the restoration, ut by and large, he car looks -very- good. The car runs and drives, ut as it has only been driven 434 miles since the restoration, verything should be gone through before driving it regularly. I had the carburetor rebuilt, owever I am not certain if it is just right yet, nd it does smoke some when running. To be perfect, t will need lots of little tlc, oth in the engine compartment, nd with relation to the body. There is a dent/split at the front of the drivers' side fender, here is damage on the drivers' side quarter where it was set down without a wheel, nd there is tow strap damage to the front bumper, o it will either need straightened out and painted, r replaced. Floors are solid. I have attempted to show both the good, nd the bad of this car in pictures, ut would be happy to answer any questions and take additional pictures for an interested party. It will come with some extras, 3 speed manual transmission, nd pedal cluster, nd a gauge pod and some metal knobs from a Comet that should bolt right in and is a bit fancier than the standard one that is in the Falcon. Car is overall, n very nice condition for its age. All glass (except side mirrors) is intact and perfect. If buyer is interested in a v8 swap, do have available separately a 1992 Mustang GT 5.0HO/5Spd combo available that runs quite well, t 140,000 miles (still in host vehicle).
