Ford Other - Street Rod Coupe 1951 Description
Selling for Elderly Friend's Estate > 1951 Ford Street Rod Coupe, this is a one owner vehicle purchased new in 1951 by her late husband. Bob owned an Automotive upholstery Shop in the metro Detroit area for many years and he specialized in Street Rods and Customs. His Pole barn and garages were filled with cars and parts that I've been selling off for the last two years and this is one of the last to go. He started this project back in the late 60s and like many others he never quite got it completed. The Roof has been chopped, redesigned rear window, front end and rear end.Has a flat head V8 with dual carbs and Evans heads . There is no rust or rotted areas, all solid floors and trunk area, frame is solid, extremely rare condition for a car this age. The door handles and trunk have been frenched and open and close properly, the hood has been altered, front grill and bumper area, rear tail lights have been completely redesigned. The interior has been converted to bucket seats but not much else done inside. This is a project that will require a lot of time, labor and money but the right person with the dreams of making this into a really cool 50s Cruiser can definitely see it's true potential. ATTN: I will be selling off other vehicles from this estate this summer such as a Beautiful 1968 Chevrolet Street Rod pick-up, a 1978 Jeep 4x4 Pick-up with a Meyers snow plow,a 1987 Chevrolet one ton dually pick-up w/ a 502 motor,a low miles 1981 Cadillac Eldorado, a low miles 1992 Oldsmobile and possibly others, Please Email Questions, Thanks
