Ford Fairlane 1967 Description

Originally a Texas "S" code GT, this Springtime Yellow example has black GT stripes and matching black interior. The condition of the car is extraordinary and all the equipment on the car is original to it and matches how it left the factory as documented by it's original build sheet and Marti Report. The single exceptions are the Hurst shifter which can be swapped back to the original factory shifter which is in perfect condition and goes with the car, and Flow Master exhaust. Options include Front Disc brakes, heavy duty suspension, styled steel wheels, four speed manual transmission, Sport steering wheel, tachometer, AM radio and 325:1 equa-Lock differential, all documented as original to this GT. In 1967 a floor console was optional and not ordered for this car, which I find as a welcomed improvement. It was built in Atlanta and shipped to Lufkin Ford in Lufkin Texas where it remained until being retired.

This rust free southwest GT has undergone a full mechanical and cosmetic restoration and is an excellent example for a collector to cherish, to compete with at shows or to drive and enjoy. The engineand drive train are believed to beoriginal to the carand the suspension and drive line have been detailed with factory paint markings. Since restoration the odometer shows only 599 miles and it hasalways been kept in a climate controlled environment. This car wonFirst place in the GT / GTA class at the 2005 Fairlane Club of America National Meet in Kingsport Tennessee and has since had many improvements and maintenance. Most recent maintenance included new brake rotors, master cylinder, rear leaf springs, re-plated vent windows, battery and a few more incidentals. This car runs great, is 100% dependable, will not disappoint the lucky buyer, and could not be duplicated for the price. For Questions call Rich at 860-945-8320 week days until 5:00 PM.
