Ford F-100 1953 Description

1953 Ford F100

Check out this 1953 Ford F100. The truck was restored many years ago but presents itself nicely. A recent restoration was started on the truck starting with the undercarriage, motor and transmission. The truck starts, idles, accelerates, shifts smoothly, cruises down the road at highway speeds and stops very well. The truck is a very good cruiser, dependable and a real eye catcher. The recent transplant of the 350 Goodwrench motor and 350 turbo trans provides plenty of power and torque to pin you to the seat. The undercarriage has been cleaned and detailed (see pics) and shows nicely. The floor pans are patch free, solid and no rust. The frame, mounts and all braces are solid and rust free. The exterior of the truck was been painted many years ago and it shows. If you like original patina you are in luck, this truck has plenty of it. There is some rust in the drivers side lower rear cab corner, the front of the hood and small misc. spots here and there. Nothing major and easily fixable by a body man. The all steel body is pretty straight with no major issues. All she needs is a little body work & a quick paint job and it would be worth double the asking price or don’t worry about it and drive it like it is. In a nut shell this is a great running and driving truck that can be a project you can drive as you work on it or just enjoy as it is.
