Ford Thunderbird 1963 Description

HISTORY : Built and delivered in November 1962. Original California car since new. Original yellow-on-black California license plates. Car was a daily driver from new until 1977. It was placed in storage from 1977 until early 1991, hen the original owner made it road-worthy again. I purchased the car in running condition from the original owner in Hawthorne, alifornia in September 1991. Rebuilt components include Engine, ransmission, riveshaft, ront and rear Suspensions. Speedometer. Replaced items include all engine electrical components, ront and rear seat upholstery, eadliner, arpet, nterior door panels, nbsp;trunk liner, nderhood insulation. Used as a weekend pleasure car and in local shows/events since 1991. Driven to and participated in Car Week displays and events at Monterey, A in August of 2001, 003, 005, 007. Pacific Grove Auto Rally veteran, alos Verdes Concours Rally Veteran.
FEATURES : Rare original color combination (Rose Beige Exterior and Interior), 5) period-correct OEM BF Goodrich "Silvertown" 8x14 tires by Coker Tire, riginal wheel covers, nbsp;Swing-away Steering Wheel, riginal working AM Radio with Civil Defense Information channel indicators. Larger diameter front Sway Bar, ftermarket rear Sway Bar (it corners like it's on rails!), ew Webber Carb. Upgraded to 1964 alternator and harness. Original yellow-on-black California license plates issued when new. Refinished trunk includes original bumper jack (missing base), ew OEM trunk liner, pare tire cover, nd 2 new carry-all zippered bags made from the same vinyl as the trunk lining. With the car also comes the original carb (rebuilt), selection of spare engine tune-up/electrical parts, ncluding spare rebuilt alternator, nbsp;the original owners manual with modern reprint, nd a small selection of new restoration parts not yet installed.
CONDITION : Always garaged since 1991. Never wrecked. One mechanic since 1991. Current DMV registration is PNO (Planned Non-Operational) . See condition description above for more detail.

ADDITIONAL CONDITION ITEMS : Some cracks have formed recently on dashtop at speaker corners. Car also comes with enough professionally mixed SEM vinyl dye in spray cans to re-dye balance of console panels, nd dashbord to match rest of interior vinyl.
