Ford Mustang 1972 Description

FOR SALE:
1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 (Yes, this is a genuine Mach 1.)
I began to restore the car a few years ago but my efforts to finish the car have succumbed to an unrelenting career commitment.
I must remind you that this was a running and driving car before it was disassembled.
The car is accompanied by a very powerful, period-correct 429 cubic-inch V8 Ford motor with approximately 7,000 miles on a rebuild. The car was originally equipped with a 351 cubic-inch Ram Air V8.
The car is accompanied by the original automatic transmission.
In its current state, the entire car is under primer and it is ready for paint. In addition to the body panels, the underside of the car, the engine compartment, the fender wells, and the floors are primed and ready for paint.
Every inch of the body and frame are solid metal. Every panel of the car that was in less than desirable condition was professionally repaired or replaced with new metal. The car has solid front fenders, solid, original doors, solid, correct Ram Air hood, NEW quarter panels, NEW floors, NEW firewall, NEW shock towers, and NEW radiator brace among other things.
The car is accompanied by a NEW chrome rear bumper, a NEW fuel tank, a NEW grill, and NEW bumper fillers.
The car is accompanied by the original deck lid spoiler and an original urethane front bumper/chin spoiler.
This car was optioned with an air conditioning system at new and this system remains with the car. The system was functioning properly at the time of disassembly.
The original console, dash, gear selector, door panels, visors, gauge cluster, front bucket seats, and rear seat remain with the car.
The car is accompanied by the original steering column with intact ignition and the original keys. The original steering wheel is also present.
The original front, side, and rear glass remain with the car.
The car is accompanied by an abundance of parts, both original and new, that can be used to bring the car back to life. These parts include a host of nuts, bolts, and other fasteners, components of the braking system, cooling system components, components of the suspension and steering systems, lights, wiring harnesses, trim pieces, rear axle, and more!
Additionally, the car will come with an extra hood, an extra rear glass, an extra rear bumper, and an extra urethane front bumper/chin spoiler.
I must make you aware that to date, I have invested more than $10,000 in this car, a figure that does not include the original purchase price of the car.
The cars current condition translates to the perfect opportunity for someone to personalize one of the most desirable muscle cars of the 70's! As much as I wish I could finish the car, I simply don't have the time to facilitate the remaining efforts.
Again, the car is a genuine Mach 1.
I have included a collection of recent pictures of the car for your review.
The car is accompanied by a clean and clear title that is ready for transfer.
Interested parties are welcomed to have the car inspected but all inspections must be completed before the end of the auction. If you have questions or uncertainties about the car or the purchase process, please contact me with those questions or uncertainties before bidding. I can be reached with a call or a text at (270) 748-1882.
The car is located in Henderson, Kentucky, ZIP code: 42420. Henderson, Kentucky is conveniently located approximately 2 hours north of Nashville, Tennessee, 3 hours south of Indianapolis, Indiana, 3 hours east of St. Louis, Missouri, and 2 hours west of Louisville, Kentucky.
The car nor the title will leave my possession until the full purchase price amount has been received in a certified payment form. I prefer cash or a wire-transfer but I will accept a cashier's check if you do not have access to the previous payment forms. A cashier's check is subject to a 7-day clearance period (my bank's policy, not mine). If you choose to ship the car, I will accommodate any shipping arrangements that you may make, but the purchaser will remain financially responsible for the entire shipping process.
*IF YOU BID ON THE CAR, NO MATTER THE AMOUNT OF YOUR BID, PLEASE PLAN TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION IN THE EVENT THAT YOUR BID IS THE WINNING BID. A $500.00 DEPOSIT MUST BE RECEIVED BY ME WITHIN 1 DAY (24 HOURS) OF THE AUCTION END UNLESS YOU PAY FOR THE CAR WITHIN THIS TIME FRAME. THE FULL PURCHASE AMOUNT MUST BE RECEIVED BY ME WITHIN 4 DAYS (96 HOURS) OF THE AUCTION END. MY RECENT EXPERIENCES WITH NON-PAYING BIDDERS FORCES ME TO INTEGRATE THIS REQUIREMENT INTO MY LISTING.
THIS LISTING CARRIES A MODEST RESERVE THAT INVITES SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!
Again, I can be reached with a call or a text at (270) 748-1882.
I greatly appreciate your interest and I look forward to hearing from you!
