GMC Vandura 1993 Description
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1993 GMC Vandura 2500 with a StarCraft conversion package. I would rate the exterior of this van to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a decent looking van. It is finished in dark red over tan interior. As with any vehicle of this age, please expect an appropriate amount of wear. On this specific van, the paint is faded from age and is showing a few areas of oxidation and clear coat peeling. Also, there is a visible rust hole on each rocker. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood and doors all open and close easily. The alloy wheels look good for their age and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber that look nearly new. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this van to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The tufted cloth seats are very comfortable and remind you of driving down the road in your favorite recliner. The carpets show well for their age throughout the interior. The power windows and mirrors work...the power locks do not. The driver's power seat partially works. Most of the blinds and curtains are intact and working. The radio has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player. The heater works well. I have no idea if the air conditioner works. The rear seat folds down in to a bed, as you can see. It was down when I got the van and I haven't really spent any time figuring out how to transform it into the sofa seat. There are two matching throw pillows in the back. Mechanically, this van appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 350ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older van. The suspension has a few squeaks going down the road but feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good. The engine temperature gauge is broken...but the oil pressure, voltage and fuel all appear to be working. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of April, 2017...but she has only covered about 600 miles since her last annual inspection. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
