GMC Sierra 3500 1979 Description

I purchased this truck from the original owner last August. The truck sat in his pole barn for 25 years with a stuck motor. Over the winter I had the engine removed and rebuilt and readied for the 250 mile drive home. The truck was rustproofed at purchase and is in amazing condition for the model and age. It is getting very difficult to find original low mileage trucks of the type and age. There are assorted dings and scratches and the original paint is faded and thin in a few spots. but this truck is still a looker. The interior is Very. Very nice and original. New Cooper Discovery HT3 tires and lifetime warranty mufflers. Motor was rebuilt with new heads. The truck needs the AC recharged. passenger manifold exhaust leak fixed. and the rust behind the front wheels repaired. There will be other issues. but nothing else has come up at this time. Everything works- all marker lights. head and tail lights. radio. heater. horn. gauges. wipers. etc. When I bought this truck I had no other means to move firewood and other bigger things. now I have plans for a new truck lease and don't need this one. Not needing and have to sell are two different things. I have spent over $6000 getting this truck ready for use. and it shows. Please email with any questions.
