GMC pickup 1986 Description
Up for sale my 1986 K15 with plow and direct fit mount. This has been a rolling restore since I purchased it. I bought this truck with the intention of using it as a work truck and thats what I have done. It hauls firewood loads, ogs and goes into the wood regularly. It is a beast off road! It is not restored to be eye candy however. The frame is very solid. The interior is a bit rough however its fixable with a few trim pieces and a dash cap. Here is what has been done.
New as of ( 3/15/14 ) crate 350. ( 8206 miles as of this add )New high rise Edelbrock intakeNew Edelbrock 650 CFM 4 barrel carb.New alternator.New starter.Low mileage 400 turbo and T-Case - 23,000 on truck they came out of.Low mileage 308 rear differential - 30,000 on truck it came out of.Newer thrush welded exhaust ( Sounds Great )New mud tires just before winter last year.New brakes all the way around Discs, otors, hoes, ads Hardware.New Ujoints, all Joints, hocks, ie Rods.New lockouts for 4*4 last yearNew shocks 2 years ago, n excellent shape still.New battery last year.Comes with the truck cap as well.
The truck has a 10,000 plus tow package factory that is very solid I tow regularly.
I recently acquired a good plow and direct fit mount for the truck that will be going with this sale too. ( Needs to be installed )
The speedometer is 10 miles an hour off because the truck originally had a 700r4 trans. It has been upgraded to a 400 turbo and I have not had time to switch the tail gears to make it read correctly.
