Special ordered by a female GM executive at Wally McCarthy's Pontiac-GMC in White Bear Lake, Minnesota and delivered December 16th, 1989.
Special ordered with Custom LeRoy Paint. Yes. You read that correctly- it was special ordered with LeRoy Custom Paint. No decals and beautiful red paint.
Always stored in garage and only driven during the summer months.
The body is in excellent condition. There is a small amount of rust on the interior lip of the drivers side door. The bed is clean and the paint of the bed is not scratched up. The undercarriage was undercoated when new and shows normal driving wear.
5.7L 350 V8 and Automatic transmission run and shift perfect. It goes down the highway perfect. Brakes work perfect. 4x4 works perfect. It doesn't leak a single drop of anything. Drive it anywhere.
The interior is in excellent condition. No rips, tears, or stains.
Fully optioned with AC, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, AM/FM stereo, and the highly desired rear sliding window. Everything works including the AC compressor however it will need a charge.
Includes 3 sets of keys, original owners manual, original window sticker, original "3,000 Mile Inspection and Maintenance Service Certificate", original LeRoy's Custom Paint documentation, and Duraliner brochures.
This is an outstanding example of an all original late 80's GMC Standard Cab Shortbox! Absolutely wonderful condition all the way around.

I wanted to update everyone.

  • The rearend gears are 3:73's.
  • New Monroe Shocks were installed within the last 3,000 miles.
  • After receiving so much interest/questions, I am continually going back and crawling all over the truck to make sure I am completely transparent and accurate in my description. I found a very slight rust bubble on the passenger side cab corner.
  • The truck looks as good in person, if not better, then it does in the pictures.
Please ask any and all questions you have. This is a very nice GMC that every Chevy/GMC enthusiast would be proud to own. Thanks, Billy.
