GMC Sierra 3500 1989 Description
This is aNO RESERVE auction for a 1989 GMC Sierra SLX V3500 (V35, 30, 3500), x4, 54 Cubic Inch V-8 TBI Fuel Injected Motor, anual Transmission L,1,2,3,R, rew Cab, +3, ong Bed. As this specific model was only made for five years (1987-1991) they are becoming harder and harder to find. It has been a local daily driver for the past fifteen years by the previous owner and has been garaged stored in those last fifteen years. It drives good, ounds great & fires right up. On start up the belts do squeal and need to be tightened as they only squeal when it first fires up. The interior is in great condition for being 27 years old. The cab and bed have rust as seen in the pictures. Some bad rusted spots are the drivers side rocker panel, t has a hole on the floor where it lines up with door. The drivers side cab corner, he bed behind the wheel wheels and some rust in the bed where you can tell there use to be a 5th wheel plate. The tires are roughly 2 years old, ave about 10,000 miles on them and have the newer updated GMC wheels. The RPM's seem to stay high while shifting in between the gears while you're driving. The clutch also seems to be a little sensitive while you're pulling the clutch out or maybe I'm just used to driving an automatic. It has an Pioneer CD player. The truck looks like its had a paint job sometime in its life as I have found some over spray on some rubber molding. In my opinion it seems pretty wrapped out at about 55mph but I'm also use to driving a newer vehicle so it could just be me. The axles are 1-Ton's as the front end is a Dana 60 kingpin and the rear axle is GM Corporate 14 Bolt and both axles are geared at 4:10:1. The AC has a hole somewhere in the system and currently doesn't blow cold AC. The heater works great. Currently the drivers side gas tank isn't working as the sending unit is out. All the gauges work as they're suppose to except for the oil pressure gauge. The truck is sold as-is and doesn't have any warranty. I have a video recording of the truck running as I do a walk around on the truck. If you want to see this video just send me your email or cell phone number.I'm sure that I'm missing some info and that there will be questions. Feel free to text me or message me. My number is 801-361-1536 and my name is Justin. If you have ZERO feedback you MUST contact me before placing your bid. There is $500 deposit required within 24 hours of the end of auction. Preferred method of payment would be cash. If you choose to ship the truck a Cashier's Check is required before transport to verify that its a clean check. This is only for sale in the USA and Canada as i'm more than willing to help and work with a transporter. I'd also be willing to deliver to reasonable nearby area for a fee (message me if you're interested in this option). Please feel free to look at my other 80's Chevy 1-Tons for sale and items on eBay as I currently am selling three other Chevy/GMC 4x4 1-Tons. I live in Grantsville, tah which is about 30 mins west of Salt Lake City. If you think you'd like to drive this home I'd be more than willing to pick you up from the SLC airport.
