1978 GMC 3/4 TO FACTORY BB a/c truck

GMC c2500 1978 Description

i bought this off a guy that owned it for past 18 yrs. he bought it to tow a car trailer. trans was blowing fluid through the dipstick so its been an around the block truck. i had the trans rebuilt. it only has maybe 10 miles on it for test drive. its got a new drivers window motor. i put new belts on it to see if ac was good. it works but needs a THERMAL SWITCH. it starts rite up . it needs rear brakes and lines they hang up in reverse. it runs and drives but should be towed do to brakes. new eagle trans rebuild kit to factory specs. new torque converter. new u joints. body is a little rough. i have fenders for it. doors are good. i didnt get the mirrors when i bought it. bed is good frame is good. hood is shot. floors need a little patch. front pillers have some rust but fixable. sliding rear window gasket leaks a little. fix the brakes and it can be a driving restoration. engine and under hood looks rusted but its surface rust. years of trans fluid i power washed it off with zep degreaser. it takes any loose paint off. truck is an unmolested original.
