Not a barn find. a barn find would not have the rainbow of patina that this one has.
Yes, it runs and drives . Needs sometuning and tinkering of course for a vehicle of this vintage

What stories this truck could tell...Last tag on California plate is 1981...
Abandoned in a field in Colorado still with its original California black plates, then rescued and turned into a driver.

I loved the look and the story of this truck and I bought it about a month ago.
Have you ever seen a bed cover like this one ?
Would this be a good Ratrod ? yes
Would this be a great "Derelict" ? yes
Would this be a great truck to just tinker with and wonder about its journey ? yes
I was told that it was at one time traded in a card game in the historic town of Mancos, Colorado

Does it need work ? yes
Is it a project ? yes
How much work ? At least the bench seat should be reinstalled ( frame included ), missing driver door glass, some metal work to make driver door close better. You be the judge, its a project truck
Currently it has two loose seats up front.
In the bed of the truck is a spare door, spare fender and the frame for the bench seat.
Straight six motor with four on the floor
The person I bought it from is a dealer, so there wont be any concerns about legal ownership. ( Bill of sale has penalty of purgery ) Also, the seller I purchased the truck from has a succesfull motorcycle repair business.
Unfortunately I don't have the place or resources to give to this truck so I have to let it go
I paid $4k for the truck ( have bill of sale ), but change of plans forces me to let it go at a loss.
Truck will come with bill of sale only, truck has not been titled in Colorado yet.
Mileage is unknown...
Vehicle inspection is welcome.
Vehicle is sold as is, buyer responsible for shipping. Truck is not registered for legalroad driving
