1981 GMC Sierra 1/2 Ton Pickup 4x4 Short Box"This was an ongoing project on a rust free southern Sierra Classic truck that took over two years to complete. When I bought it this truck had 83,544 miles on it. I've only put a few hundred miles on it over the 2 years I've owned it. Nearly everything has been rebuilt, eplaced or refurbished on this sweet truck. It sports a new performance (approx 340hp) crate short block motor with a 4 speed transmission that was rebuilt and had a new clutch. The bed and tailgate has been spray lined. New BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A 33-112.5-15LT on restored stock ralley wheels. Paint and body was done at a custom shop and is now nicer than when it was new.Many interior pieces were replaced and if there was something unavailable it was refurbished to match new. Stereo and speakers are updated while most everything else was left to look stock. The front end was leveled and rear wheels were spaced out 1" to give it the proper stance.Gas charged shocks are new as well as all lights, umpers and glass trim, auges, adiator and on and on. The GMC Sierra‏ is GM's version of the Chevy Silverado C/K 1500. Now I'm on to other projects and so this one is looking for a happy home and another proud owner.
