GMC Other 1940 Description

1940 GMC Panel Truck. 1/2 Ton, Shortwheel base.
Very original Truck. It was a Grocery Truck in Sacramento California when new.
The truck has its original Drivetrain. Original 228 Inline GMC Motor still runs. Brakes are all new a few years back. Just had the gas tank restored by a radiator shop.
The truck needs a new wiring harness to be a regular driver. Tires are a few years old.
Bed wood still original and solid. Truck is Complete. I have the rear door glass, a few spares and some rubber for restoration not seen in the photos.
One grill bar has a ding, otherwise very good. I have one replacement grill Bar.
The body is excellent. It was media blasted and epoxy primed many years ago. Only a few pinholes anywhere. Very very nice and straight.
The only sheet metal that was not perfect was the rear fenders. I bought two NOS rear fenders years ago here on ebay for $1600. They are included.
Factory Sway Bar, Factory Dual Horns, Factory Spare tire carrier.
I have clear CA title for this truck. It can be shipped anywhere in the world. I can have delivered to the Port of LA/ Long Beach for $350 and Richmond/ Oakland CA for $250.

Feel free to ask questions. Please be sure your email address is registered correctly with ebay. Or send me your email address to reply to. I regularly get email that I can't reply to thru the ebay system.
I had one guy ask questions so here is the answers-

I purchased the truck from the Grandson of the original owner. I owned it about 10 years and sold it to a neighbor. I then bought it back from him. I have owned it twice myself.
The truck has very very little rust. It is pinholes, mainlyin the bottom of the drivers door, very little. You can't stick a screwdriver thru it anywhere. The photos should show how solid it is. The Title is clear and matches the numbers on truck, so no issues on export.
The truck is drivable. It will need new wiring. I have analligator clip from the battery to coil so it will run. But it needs the lights wired. Brakes are good.
